Work, then a test with you

The price doesn’t move mid-job

If we open it and the job changes, we stop and quote the new work. We don’t quietly add it.

Licensed, insured, and checked

Sample promise: techs are licensed where the work requires it, the shop carries insurance, and backgrounds are checked.

You see what came out

The old part stays on the floor until you’ve looked at it, and we don’t leave until the system is tested with you.

Questions

Straight answers, with ranges

How often should I tune up my system?

Most homes do well with a heating check in the fall and a cooling check in the spring — about once a year for each. A system that runs hard, or one past about 12 years, sometimes wants a look sooner. That’s a common range, not a rule for your house.

Do you charge a service-call fee?

On this sample site, a diagnostic visit is often folded into the repair if you approve the work the same day. If you only want the diagnosis, a sample range is about $89–$129. The flat quote before any work starts is the number that matters, and it can differ by the job.

How long does a furnace or AC usually last?

A furnace often runs somewhere around 15–20 years, and a central air conditioner around 12–15, if it’s maintained. Some quit sooner. Some go longer. Age is a clue, not a verdict — we say what we see at the house.

Is a heat pump worth it in Utah?

Sometimes. Utah winters get cold enough that many homes still want a gas furnace, or a heat pump paired with one. Bills, ducts, and the electric panel all change the answer. A consult gives a range for your house. It isn’t a promise that a heat pump will pay for itself.
